EPSO releases names, photos of teens found murdered off Old Pueblo Road

The El Paso County Sheriff's Office has released information about two teenagers who were found murdered off of Old Pueblo Road Sunday morning.

They were Derek Benjamin Greer, 15, and Natalie Partida, 16. The two were students at Coronado High School.

The teen's bodies were found on the shoulder of Old Pueblo Road about 3/4 of a mile south of Hanover Road. The area is just east of Fountain Creek, not far from Pikes Peak International Raceway.

The bodies were spotted by passers-by who called 9-1-1 at around 8:45 a.m. Sunday. Autopsies on the teens were performed Monday at the El Paso County Coroner's Office. The sheriff's office still has not said how the teens were killed. Their deaths are being investigated as homicides.

In a news release Monday evening, the sheriff's office said that it is asking the community to be vigilant and report anything out of the ordinary for the area. You're asked to call 719-390-5555 or Crime Stoppers at 719-634-STOP (7867) if you have any information about these deaths.

KRDO NewsChannel 13 is keeping in constant contact with the sheriff's office and we will continue to bring you updates on this investigation as they become available.
