Fatal crash at S. McCulloch Blvd West, Hwy 50

PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. - A tractor pulling a trailer crashed into a 2007 Honda Fit along Highway 50 on Tuesday afternoon, killing the driver of the Sedan.

CSP got a call about the crash at South McCulloch Boulevard West and Highway 50 at around 4:14 p.m.

The 34-year-old driver of the Sedan was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the tractor walked away with no injuries.

According to CSP, the Honda failed to yield the right-of-way and attempted to make a left turn onto South McCulloch Boulevard West when an eastbound 1998 Peterbilt Tractor pulling a trailer crashed into the Honda.

The turning lane to go southbound is blocked and all eastbound lanes are being diverted to a side road.

Authorities do not believe drugs or alcohol contributed to the crash.
