Final Weekend for Colorado Springs' Sunbird Mountain Grill and Tavern

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Sunday is the last chance people in Colorado Springs have to enjoy the food and scenic views of the Sunbird Mountain Grill and Tavern restaurant.

The owners announced they are closing their doors for good after Super Bowl Sunday. They have not said why they are shutting down or what the future holds for the location on top of Rattlesnake Hill.

The Sunbird first opened in 1975 and since then has been a staple in the community with a prime view of Colorado Springs.
