Fort Carson hosting Teddy Bear Clinic

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -

The Fort Carson Veterinary Center is hosting a Teddy Bear Clinic. It is the second year for the event.

Military children can bring their worn and damaged stuffed animals in for repair. It is a chance for veterinary technicians and others to practice their suturing skills and prepare for emergency trauma scenarios.

Stuffed animals can be dropped off at the clinic through Wednesday May, 31 at 1535 Sheridan Ave. Bldg. 6190 Fort Carson. They will be available for pickup on June 2 and June 5.

The event is only available to children of DoD identification cardholders.
