PUEBLO, Colo. - The Pueblo Police Department investigated a stabbing Friday morning.
Officers say a man showed up at the hospital with multiple stab wounds. At first, it was believed he had been shot.
Investigators learned the man was stabbed during a fight in the 1600 block of E. 14th Street.
Marcos Garcia, 26, was arrested. He faces charges of second-degree assault with a deadly weapon and violating a restraining order. He also had an outstanding warrant.
The victim, an unidentified 49-year-old man, is recovering from stab wounds to his front and back torso.
Police say the victim stopped at the house to pick up his girlfriend when the fight happened.
