Suspect arrested for illegal marijuana grow in Fountain

FOUNTAIN, Colo. - Fountain police say a suspect is in custody after officers found a "massive grow" Wednesday at a house in Fountain they had been staking out for months.

Martin R. Navas, 59, was arrested and charged with class-4 felony marijuana cultivation Thursday.

Fountain police believe a group is behind the "massive grow," and it's unclear how much marijuana had already been distributed before they got there. 

Police arrived to the home on Reminiscent Circle in a residential neighborhood on Wednesday. A man was home at the time, but no arrests have been made.
