WETMORE, Colo. - A wildlife rehabilitation organization in is currently helping 10 abandoned bear cubs which is near their maximum capacity.
Tom and Cec Sanders have been helping animals for more than 30 years. They live on 120 acres of land where they rehabilitate large mammals such as deer, pronghorn and bears. This year they have taken in more bears than they have in the past.
Their goal is to feed the bears and get them to proper weight before being released. They also need try to get the bears to fear humans so they do not approach any people once they are released.
