Crash knocks out power in east Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - UPDATE:

Power is returning to customers, CSU now says about 120 customers without power.

The driver stayed at the scene and is not hurt.

 

CSPD and Colorado Springs Utilities are responding to a car crash on the east side of Colorado Springs.

Police say a vehicle hit an electrical box, knocking out power to about 1000 customers.

CSU is on scene and is working to restore power.

No word yet on the condition of the driver, or extent of any injuries.
