Multi-vehicle accident in Pueblo sends 3 to hospital

PUEBLO, Colo. - A multiple-vehicle accident in Pueblo on Thursday afternoon sent three people to the hospital. 

At around 3:10 p.m., police got a call about a traffic accident at Red Creek Springs Road. 

An SUV was speeding and tried to run a red light when it collided with a truck and then hit another vehicle nearby. 

The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition. 

The driver of the truck walked away from the crash, but the passenger had to be taken to the hospital. The last report was that he/she is in stable condition. 

The driver of the second vehicle hit was also taken to the hospital and is in stable condition. 

The northbound and southbound lanes of Pueblo Boulevard at Red Creek Springs Road and Rutgers were closed for several hours.
