Witnesses told KDVR that as flames spread through the van, people from nearby businesses ran with fire extinguishers to help.
One witness said the trapped driver was screaming and complained he couldn't breathe. "Me and another lady approached the car and we prayed with the guy and encouraged him that help was on the way," the man told KDVR.
It's unknown if anyone else was injured in the crash.
