We're tracking another day of record-breaking heat Saturday before we cool down in a big way on Monday.
The goal is to remove excess undergrowth that could become fuel for wildfires.
We are tracking another hot day on Saturday, but noticeably cooler air arrives on Monday.
Another beautiful day on tap into Southern Colorado with near record high temperatures. Winds along the mountains are expected top kick up over the weekend, increasing the potential fire danger.
Highs today will range in the 70s and 80s for much of southern Colorado. In fact, we are pacing to tie or break some previous records! Sunny skies, dry conditions and calm winds are expected. Get outside and enjoy it!
