WANTED: Colorado Springs homicide suspect

Colo. Springs, CO - Investigators have identified a suspect wanted in connection to a homicide in Colorado Springs.
 
30-year-old Charles Lobato is wanted on a first-degree murder charge. Police believe he killed 35-year-old Shawnee Tapia in the Astro Liquors parking lot in the 3800-block of Astrozon Boulevard on January 7th.
 
Lobato has multiple tattoos, including a Broncos emblem on his chest and the word “Park” on his right hand.
 
Lobato should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.  If you see him call police immediately or Crime stoppers at 719-634-STOP (7867).
