KRDO-TV, the ABC Affiliate, in Colorado Springs is the winner of the past 2 Regional Murrow Awards for Overall Excellence.  We are seeking an aggressive, highly motivated and skilled Weather Forecaster/Multi-Media Reporter to join our award-winning news staff

Job Description:

We are a fast-paced newsroom that puts an emphasis on Enterprise reporting and Breaking News.  The successful candidate will be able to produce forecasts, weathercasts and storm alert bulletins that are compelling, visually interesting, clear and concise.  You will work with the Chief Meteorologist as well as the News Director in breaking news and news stories.  Developing contacts and sources will be expected.  We do not want reporters who are looking for story handouts at the assignment desk.  You must have a winning attitude who wants to compete for the "Big Story" everyday.

Required Qualifications:

This candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in broadcast meteorology and 2 years Television News reporting experience.  Must have excellent written and verbal skills.  A good driving record is a must.  Being fluent in Spanish is a huge plus.
