What we know about the death of a mother, 10-yr-old daughter in Pueblo West

PUEBLO WEST, Colo. - The Pueblo County Coroner has confirmed that Jennifer Hamula died from a single gunshot wound and her daughter Stephie Hamula died from multiple gunshot wounds.

The coroner said the investigation is still ongoing into the manner of death.

Their bodies were found Monday afternoon in the 100 block of Mescal Drive alongside two dead dogs. 

Jennifer was an employee with the DOC since 1997 and was currently working at the state penitentiary in Canon City. 

Investigators said there is no threat to the public but have yet to identify a suspect or motive.
