WATCH: Bear hangs out in Colorado Springs backyard tree

Bear hangs out in Colorado Springs...

COLORADO SPRINGS - A bear was spotted in the backyard of a home on the west side of Colorado Springs on Friday morning.

The bear was hanging out in a tree behind a home off Pioneer lane for several hours.

The homeowners first noticed him hanging around their home on a camera installed in their backyard.

He then climbed over the fence and made his way up onto the branches.

The homeowner, Connie told KRDO NewsChannel 13 that she looked out her window and was startled to see the bear in her tree.

She has called Colorado Parks and Wildlife. A spokesperson told her that crews would not be responding and to just let the bear leave on its own.

We will keep you updated.
