Deer wants to hammock for Sunday Funday

COLORADO SPRINGS - Spring weather is starting to move through southern Colorado, and one deer attempted to take full advantage of its Sunday Funday.

Becky Smith, who lives near Palmer Park happen to catch a doe trying to climb into a hammock in her backyard at around 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 26.

Smith isn’t completely sure why the deer wanted to take a swing, but she sure got a kick out of watching it all go down.

“We were entertained and shocked that a deer was trying to get in the hammock,” explained Smith. “Maybe she wanted to take a nap.”

Smith told KRDO NewsChannel 13 that the doe tried a few more times to get in the hammock, but eventually gave up and went on her way to enjoy the rest of her Sunday.
