Clemson junior wide receivers Sammy Watkins and Martavis Bryant will enter this year's NFL draft, according to multiple media reports.
Watkins had 101 catches for 1,464 yards with 12 touchdowns this season. He made 16 receptions for 227 yards with two touchdowns Friday in Clemson's 40-35 win over Ohio State in the Orange Bowl. Watkins was honored as the game's MVP. Afterward, he said his performance helped "finish off my legacy here."
NFLDraftScout.com ranks Watkins as the No. 2 wide receiver and 20th overall prospect.
Bryant informed the Louisville Post-Courier Sunday of his intentions. "I have decided to enter the draft, it's best for me and my family," he wrote in a text message.
Bryant had 42 catches for 828 yards with seven touchdowns this season. His 19.7 yards-per-catch average ranked ninth in the country.
