The Cleveland Indians recalled outfielder Nyjer Morgan from Triple-A Columbus on Sunday and optioned left-handed pitcher Nick Hagadone to Columbus.
Morgan begins his second stint with Cleveland this year after opening the year with the Indians, hitting .348 (8-for-23) with three steals, seven walks, four runs scored and four RBIs in nine games -- including seven starts in center field.
Morgan was optioned to Columbus on April 15 and has appeared in 15 games for the Clippers. He is batting .200 with four runs, four doubles, one home run and seven RBIs.
Hagadone is 1-2 with a 3.97 ERA and one save in 10 relief appearances with Columbus. He was recalled on Saturday but did not appear in the game against the Chicago White Sox.
