Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez may open on season on the PUP list
New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez might begin training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list, according to ESPN.com. Hernandez underwent shoulder surgery this offseason and is expected to need four months to recover. Hernandez however should be ready for the beginning of the regular season on September 8. Last season, Hernandez was very solid when he played, amassing 483 yards on 51 catches, scoring five touchdowns in ten games.
