Phoenix Suns guard Eric Bledsoe had successful arthroscopic surgery involving meniscus cartilage in his right knee, the team announced Friday.
The surgery was performed in Phoenix by team doctor and knee surgeon Thomas Carter. Bledsoe will immediately begin rehabbing the knee and may possibly return sometime during the second half of this season.
Bledsoe sustained meniscus damage during his Dec. 30 return to Los Angeles to face his former Clippers. He has missed the Suns' last four games.
The 24-year-old is averaging 18.0 points, 5.8 assists and 4.3 rebounds in 24 games this season, his first with the Suns.
