PITTSBURGH -- Ben Roethlisberger threw two first-quarter touchdown passes and Shaun Suisham kicked a 20-yard field goal as time expired Saturday night, lifting the Pittsburgh Steelers to a 19-16 preseason victory over the Buffalo Bills.
The Bills lost rookie wide receiver Sammy Watkins to a rib injury early in the game.
The winning score was set up when Bills reserve quarterback Jeff Tuel was sacked by Steelers linebacker Vic So'Oto and fumbled. Linebacker Howard Jones picked up the loose ball and returned it 19 yards to the Buffalo 1-yard line.
Roethlisberger threw a 76-yard scoring pass in the first quarter to wide receiver Antonio Brown, who turned a 10-yard slant pattern into a long touchdown. Wide receiver Markus Wheaton hauled in a 16-yard touchdown pass later in the quarter to put the Steelers (1-1) ahead 13-3. Roethlisberger completed 8 of 11 passes for 128 yards as the veteran quarterback played the first three possessions before giving way to third-stringer Landry Jones.

Rodgers completed 11 of 13 passes for 128 yards and a 3-yard, first-quarter scoring strike to Green Bay running back Randall Cobb.
Defensive end Michael Sam had his first sack for the Rams, tackling Packers quarterback Matt Flynn for a 10-yard loss in the fourth quarter.
The Rams likely lost running back Isaiah Pead for the season with an apparent torn ACL after he planted his foot awkwardly during a kickoff in the first quarter.
