LOOKING BACK: Despite being the cause of two accidents, Vickers was able to rally in the final 50 laps to finish fourth at Bristol. "We had an incredible car there at the end," said Vickers. "It was quite the fight. We were up and down all night. I hate it for Denny (Hamlin) on that incident on the backstretch - the 17 (Ricky Stenhouse, Jr.) was blowing up and I went to go under the 17 and I guess Denny was to my inside. Really proud of this Aaron's effort. No one gave up and we got another solid top-five."
ETC.: The team announced Monday that Scott Miller, the vice-president of competition, will "oversee" the crew chief duties on the 55 car for the remainder of the season. Miller is replacing Rodney Childers, who will be moving to Stewart-Haas Racing in 2014. Billy Scott, a race engineer on the 55 car for the past two seasons, will take an "elevated role" in car set up and race weekend preparations. The team was quick to point out Childers will remain under contract with MWR through December 31.
