Denver Nuggets' fans wanted a splash in free agency, and now it seems like they'll have one.
According to reports from "The Vertical" on Sunday night, 4-time All Star forward Paul Millsap is set to sign a 3-year deal with the Nuggets worth $90 million.
On Saturday Nuggets brass along with a who's who of Denver-based recruiters (including members of the Denver Broncos) traveled to Atlanta to meet with the former Hawks' star.
Not 24 hours later, the deal was reportedly done.
Millsap opted out of the final year of his contract with Atlanta before free agency began.
He scored a career-best 18.1 points per game with the Hawks in 2016-17, along with 7.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.1 three-pointers in 34.0 minutes.
