TODAY: Skies will be sunny around Southern Colorado today and our highs climb into the 40s and 50s! You'll notice a bit of a breeze this afternoon with more melting snow.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies are expected in to the early overnight with winds increasing. This will keep temps mild as lows fall to the 20s and 30s. Cloud cover will begin to increase in the early morning hours with winds continuing to become stronger.
EXTENDED: Winds will be gusting from the west between 30 and 40 mph. This means a wind alert level 1 is in place. Strong downsloping also means the warmth will be in abundance tomorrow! Highs will top off in the 60s. This also comes in tandem with some elevated fire danger. Our next round of active weather comes in the form of snow showers late Thursday into Friday. Little to no impacts are expected as of today.
