Local Forecast

Sunny and warmer today - 3/7/18

TODAY: Skies will be mainly sunny today and we will see warmer afternoon temperatures! This is thanks to an area of high pressure building into the area. Most places will feel afternoon highs in the 40s and 50s.

TONIGHT: Skies will be mostly clear tonight and overnight lows won't be as chilly. You'll feel temperatures in the 20s in the lower elevations with teens in the mountain cities and high country.

EXTENDED: The long range forecast looks quiet until the weekend. The sunshine and warming trend stick around through Friday. In fact, most places will be feeling highs in the 60s to near 70 by Friday afternoon. This is out ahead of our next cold front that moves in on Saturday. Right now, snow chances aren't looking that high. The best chances of seeing a few flakes will be in our mountain cities and around the Palmer Divide. Sunday looks dry with cooler temperatures before another front moves in on Monday. Models have really backed off on snow... in fact. Most are showing mainly dry skies. We will keep you posted on any changes in the coming days.
