TODAY: We will kick off the morning with areas of freezing fog and a bit of light snow. This is thanks to some easterly, low level winds. Temperatures to start the day will be in the single digits, but a breeze will make things feel below zero. Our winds make a shift as we go toward the late morning and early afternoon, so fog should clear out and any snow showers come to an end. Skies will be mostly sunny for your Wednesday with cool highs in the 20s. Though chilly, snow should melt a bit today.
TONIGHT: Clouds increase through the overnight and lows cool to the teens. Snow will be fairly widespread across the high country, with just chances for a few snow shows through Southern Colorado. Watch out for a few slick spots on area roads Thursday morning.
EXTENDED: A few more snow showers are expected through Woodland Park, Canon City and Colorado Springs during the day on Thursday, but accumulation does not look likely right now. We get sunshine back through the first part of Friday before another round of snow moves in that night into Saturday morning. Models are still sorting themselves out, so we will keep you posted on specifics in the coming days. Highs will be back in the 40s by Sunday.
