Different areas woke up to different conditions Friday morning, from wet roads in Colorado Springs to snow on the grass in Woodland Park and poor visibility on Monument Hill.
The storm moved into the region Thursday afternoon, bringing waves of rain to much of southern Colorado.
As the temperature cooled overnight, the rain turned to snow at the higher elevations.
By the morning rush, the rain was winding down along the front range, but thick fog was reducing visibility across the Palmer Divide in northern El Paso County.
While the heaviest rain has passed, StormTracker 13's Abby Acone says unsettled weather will continue through the day Friday with more showers possible.
