The National Weather Service has issued Red Flag Warnings because of high fire danger in parts of southern Colorado.
The warnings include El Paso County, Pueblo County, Fremont County, and northeastern Huerfano County.
A red flag warning means that the combination of dry fuels, warm temperatures, and gusty winds will allow fires to start easily and spread quickly.
Fire safety precautions should be taken.
The warning expires at 6 p.m.
