Winter storm watch issued for Palmer Divide, Teller County

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The National Weather Service has issued winter storm watches for the higher elevations of southern Colorado, including northern El Paso and Teller counties. 

The watch begins at 6 p.m. Tuesday and expires at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Several inches of snow will be possible during this timeframe, and it may be blown around by gusty winds.

The watch also includes the Wet Mountains, the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Huerfano County and western Las Animas County.
