32-foot smuggling tunnel discovered near Arizona border

Mexican authorities have discovered a 32-foot-long smuggling tunnel at the Arizona border.

According to a tweet sent by the Mexican Federal Police Wednesday, the tunnel was discovered across the border from Nogales, Arizona.

The New York Post reports, it was being used "for the transfer of drugs and people," said officials.

The tunnel is described to have a circular door that's just big enough for a body to fit.

The newly discovered tunnel is the third of it's kind to be unearthed in the area in less than a month.

Since December, Mexican officials have uncovered a 50-foot and a 65-foot tunnel in the same area.
