Police investigating shooting near West 11th in Pueblo

PUEBLO, Colo. - Police in Pueblo are investigating a shooting that occurred on West 11th Street and Blake around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.

A man was shot through the window of a home. We were originally told that the man was shot twice. Authorities later gave an update saying the man was shot once resulting in an entry and exit wound. The man did sustain a broken pelvis. His identity has not been released. 

Officers also found a deceased cat in the home and believe it may have been hit by a bullet fragment. An Animal Control Officer recovered the cat's body.

Police have also not released any more information about who the suspect could be or what they may look like. An investigation is currently underway.
