Police respond to shooting in southeast Colorado Springs, one deceased victim

Shooting investigation on Chapman Road continues

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Police have responded to a shooting around 10 p.m. Tuesday night near S. Academy and Airport along Chapman Drive in the Pine Creek Village apartment complex.

Very little information has been released at this time, however, we're told the victim, a male, was allegedly shot while out walking his dog and is pronounced dead.

Neighbors told KRDO they heard three shots fired. 

If you have any information on the shooting you are asked to call the police.
