Truck crashes into bus after chase in south Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Multiple Colorado Springs police officers responded to a crash between a truck and a bus following a brief chase Tuesday evening.

CSPD said the department got a call about a domestic disturbance on Gina Drive around 4:45 p.m. When officers responded, they saw the suspect leave in a truck.

The suspect fled south on Academy and evaded a traffic stop by police. The crash came to an end when he side-swiped a bus and then crashed into a parked car.

Police identified the suspect as Jeremy Lamb. He was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. He's expected to be criminally charged, though police didn't specify what charges he was facing.

Nobody on the bus was reported injured, police said.
