PELHAM, N.H. - Wedding guests tackled a gunman to the ground after he allegedly opened fire and shot two people in a New Hampshire church Saturday morning, reported ABC News.
Pelham Police Chief Joseph Roark said they "basically gang tackled him" and held the man until police arrived to take him into custody.
According to police, three people have been hospitalized, two with gunshot wounds and a third for minor injuries.
Roark did not say anything about the alleged shooter's motive or his relationship to the couple and their wedding guests at the New England Pentecostal Church.
Police received the report of an active shooting situation at approximately 10 a.m. Roark added that police had recovered a handgun at the scene.
